At Emerald City Performing Arts, our programming is intentionally designed to provide a well-rounded musical theatre education through performance, collaboration, and individualized artistic development. OUR PROGRAMMING
ECPA Company
ECPA Company is the heart of our organization and provides students with comprehensive, team-based musical theatre training. Through a focused and immersive approach, students receive high-quality instruction while building meaningful relationships with their peers and instructors.
Each Company member participates in both their Core Company and the Ensemble Company where they develop a strong foundation in:
acting, singing, dancing
storytelling, character development
performance technique, performance quality, musicality
ensemble collaboration, leadership, professional rehearsal habits
ECPA Company members participate in local and regional theatre competitions, festivals, showcases, and other performance opportunities throughout the season. Rather than preparing a performance once and moving on, students engage in an ongoing creative process—revisiting, refining, and strengthening each piece through feedback, collaboration, and artistic exploration. This process helps students develop adaptability, attention to detail, and a deeper understanding of storytelling and performance.

Students have opportunities to participate in fully staged musical theatre productions throughout the season.
These productions provide the opportunity to experience the complete creative process—from auditions and rehearsals through live performances—while developing collaboration, professionalism, artistic discipline, and confidence.
Travel Experiences
One of the unique aspects of ECPA is the opportunity to learn beyond the studio.
Students may have opportunities to participate in regional, national, and international performance experiences, festivals, competitions, workshops, and educational travel. These experiences foster artistic growth while creating lifelong memories and friendships.
Specialized Artistic Development
For students seeking additional individualized training, ECPA offers optional coaching designed around each artist's personal goals. Coaching opportunities include:
