All ECPA programs are held in Factoria, with the exception of select coaching and artistic development opportunities offered at additional locations. The specific location for these additional venues will be communicated to families prior to registration.

No! We welcome students with a wide range of experience levels. Some programs are designed for developing performers, while others offer more advanced training. Program descriptions will indicate any experience or audition requirements.

Unless otherwise noted, our musical theatre productions are enrollment-based—students register for the program and everyone enrolled is included in the show.

Auditions may be held after enrollment to help the creative team assign roles. Casting decisions are based on the needs of the production and may consider vocal range, acting choices, movement ability, preparation, chemistry, and the student’s overall fit for each role.

Yes. Every enrolled performer participates meaningfully in the production. The size and nature of each role will vary, but we work to ensure that every student is actively involved and has opportunities to learn, contribute, and shine.

Yes. The ECPA Ensemble Company is designed for students seeking more focused training, performance and travel opportunities, and participation in festivals or competitions. Company placement may require an audition or evaluation so we can ensure the program is a good fit for each performer.

ECPA primarily serves PreK through high school students. Grade ranges vary by program, so please review the individual class or production description before registering. Adults may participate in Artistic Development programming.

Absolutely. Students may participate in recreational classes, musical theatre productions, private coaching, audition preparation, and other artistic development opportunities without being members of Company.

Artistic Development offers individualized training for students who want to strengthen specific skills or prepare performance material. Options may include:

• Solo, duo, trio, and small group coaching

• Private voice, acting, or dance coaching

• Audition preparation

• College audition preparation

• Competition routine development

Availability and scheduling depend on the instructor and type of coaching requested.

Tuition varies based on the program’s length, instructional hours, production expenses, and included materials. Current pricing and payment information will be listed on each program’s registration page.

Yes. We want cost to be as little of a barrier as possible. Families who would benefit from financial assistance are encouraged to complete our confidential financial-assistance application.

Financial Assistance Application

This varies by program. ECPA may provide certain costume pieces, while families may be asked to supply basic personal items such as shoes, tights, undergarments, or simple clothing pieces. Any additional requirements will be communicated well in advance.

Unless specifically noted, audience tickets are separate from tuition. Ticket information will be shared with participating families before the performance.

Consistent attendance is essential, especially for productions and ensemble-based programs. Students are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals, classes, technical rehearsals, and performances unless an absence has been approved in advance.

Known conflicts should be disclosed during registration. Excessive or unexpected absences may affect casting, staging, or participation in certain numbers.

Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move safely and fully. Closed-toe shoes or appropriate dance shoes may be required depending on the class. Long hair should be secured away from the face.

Program-specific clothing and footwear requirements will be provided before the first class.

Students should bring a labeled water bottle, snacks, and any requested scripts, music, dance shoes, or rehearsal materials. Please review program communications for additional requirements.

Important information will be sent to the primary email address provided during registration. Families are responsible for reviewing rehearsal updates, schedules, costume information, and performance details.

Please let us know if more than one parent or guardian should receive program communications.

ECPA will notify families as soon as possible if a class or rehearsal must be canceled because of severe weather, instructor illness, facility issues, or another circumstance outside our control. When practical, we will attempt to reschedule the missed instructional time.

To help students remain focused and allow the ensemble to build trust, regular classes and rehearsals are generally closed to observers unless otherwise announced. Families may be invited to designated showcases, open rehearsals, or sharing days.
