ECPA Company is our signature training program, designed for students who are passionate about growing as performers while becoming part of a supportive artistic community. Membership provides comprehensive weekly training, meaningful performance opportunities, and experiences that foster both artistic and personal growth. Open to 4th - 12th Grade students. COMPANY MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Musical Theatre Production Class:
Students rehearse and perform a fully staged musical production while developing skills in acting, singing, dance, character development, storytelling, and stagecraft. Through the production process, students also build confidence, discipline, collaboration skills, and an understanding of professional rehearsal and performance expectations.
This class will culminate in two separate fully staged productions: Show 1 in January and Show 2 in May/June.
ECPA has applied to participate in the Junior Theater Festival in Sacramento, California, where students would perform a 15-minute selection from Show 1. Participation is contingent upon acceptance, and additional rehearsals will be scheduled in preparation for the festival. This would be an optional add on experience.
Ensemble Company Class:
Students develop two to three musical theatre routines for competitions, festivals, showcases, and community events. Training integrates acting, singing, dance, storytelling, performance technique, and ensemble-building to help students become versatile performers, collaborative artists, and confident young leaders.
Artistic Development(Optional):
Students seeking additional individualized training may participate in specialized coaching aligned with their personal goals and performance aspirations. Offerings may include: Solos, Duos, Trios, Small Groups, Audition Preparation, College Audition Preparation, and Private Lessons.
Students receive personalized feedback and focused coaching tailored to their individual strengths, interests, and goals. ECPA Company members participating in solos, duos, trios, and small groups will have opportunities to perform and compete at selected events throughout the season.
Performances, Competitions, and Travel:
Throughout the season, students prepare multiple musical theatre pieces for performances, competitions, festivals, showcases, and special events. Opportunities may include regional travel, out-of-state events, workshops, and other theatre experiences.
Whole-Artist Growth and Community:
ECPA develops more than strong performers. Through rigorous training, meaningful mentorship, and shared artistic experiences, students build confidence, compassion, integrity, discipline, resilience, creativity, and leadership. Students rehearse and perform in both large and small groups, learning to contribute as individuals while supporting the success of the entire company.
ECPA 26/27 Company Weekly Schedule
ECPA Company is a one to two-day-per-week training program designed to provide students with consistent, comprehensive musical theatre instruction. Company members attend the Musical Theatre Production Classes and the Ensemble Company Class on Tuesdays, and some added Sundays. Optional Artistic Development coaching is available on Wednesdays and Fridays for students seeking additional individualized or small-group training.
Note: Tuesday classes will meet on Sundays during September due to a facility scheduling conflict. Also, Artistic Development coachings may be available on other days and times - please inquire for availability.

Junior Theatre Festival Rehearsals

2026–2027 ECPA Ensemble Company Competitions, Events, and Performances
December 15th, 2026: Company Performance - Professional Feedback Intensive - Company members present their performance pieces for a panel of local theatre professionals. Students receive individualized feedback, participate in focused note sessions, and gain insight into the professional artistic process.
January 16th, 2027: Production Performance - Students present the season’s first full production, followed by an opportunity for the ECPA community to celebrate their work.
January 29th-31st, 2027: Company Travel Performance at Access Broadway (Las Vegas)
February 5th-8th: Potential/Optional Travel Performance at the Junior Theatre Festival, if accepted (Sacramento)
March 20th, 2027: Company Performance at ECPA Fundraiser - Students take an active role in designing, organizing, promoting, and performing in this special event, developing leadership, creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial skills.
April 16th-19th, 2027: Company Travel Performance at Turn It Around Tour (Phoenix)
June 12th, 2027: Production Performance- Students present the season’s second full production, followed by a celebration recognizing their accomplishments and growth.
June 19th, 2027: Company Performance- ECPA Industry Day - Local artistic directors, directors, choreographers, music directors, and casting professionals are invited to view students’ polished performance pieces. This event gives students meaningful exposure to professionals in the Greater Seattle theatre community while celebrating their artistic growth and achievement.

Join Emerald City Performing Arts for our inaugural magical musical adventure beneath the waves! Based on the beloved Disney film, The Little Mermaid JR. follows Ariel, a curious young mermaid who dreams of exploring the world beyond the sea. Featuring unforgettable songs such as “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” and “Kiss the Girl,” this joyful production celebrates courage, friendship, family, and finding the confidence to pursue your dreams.
Designed for performers (Grades 4th-12th) of all experience levels, this production offers exciting opportunities for actors, singers, dancers, and storytellers. With memorable characters, energetic ensemble numbers, and a vibrant underwater world to bring to life, every cast member will play an important role in creating the magic.
Guided by ECPA’s commitment to training artists, building community, and inspiring excellence, students will develop their skills in acting, singing, dance, character development, and ensemble storytelling while forming meaningful friendships in a supportive environment while working together to bring this beloved musical to life.

PERFORMANCE(S) DATE: January 16th, 2027
TUITION: $300 per month for five months and includes weekly rehearsals, performance training, and participation in the final production.

AUDITIONS: No audition required—every enrolled performer is part of the show!Our inclusive production model gives every student the opportunity to rehearse, grow, and perform in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. Auditions will be held on the 1st day of rehearsal and roles will be thoughtfully assigned by the creative team so that each performer can contribute meaningfully, build confidence, and shine onstage.
REGISTRATION/MATERIALS FEE: A one-time registration and production materials fee of $150 helps cover show licensing, scripts and performance materials, performance venue expenses, and other production-related supplies. Families may also be asked to provide select basic costume pieces for their students.
REGISTRATION INFO: Students should register for the Musical Theatre Production Class to participate, unless already registered through a Company Membership. Auditions will take place during the first week of class and will be used to assign roles within the production. All registered students will be cast—no separate audition is required before enrolling, and performers of all experience levels are welcome!
